Do I need to install anything?
No. Valigo runs in your browser. Sign in, upload a spreadsheet export, and the checks run on Valigo's servers.
Does Valigo work offline?
Yes, once you have opened it with a connection. If the connection drops, profiling, validation and compare keep working: the same engine runs on your computer, and your files stay on it. Files over 50 MB, AI features and saving work to your workspace need the connection.
Where does my data go?
Files you upload are stored in your workspace's cloud storage and processed on Valigo's servers. Only members you invite can sign in, and downloaded reports are password-protected.
Can teams configure and reuse validation rules?
Valigo is designed around configurable checks that can be reused across recurring extracts, mock conversions, testing cycles, and reconciliations. Rule-authoring, saving, and sharing options depend on the current release; confirm your workflow in a guided demo.
Does Valigo support Workday, Oracle HCM, and SAP HR?
Valigo provides configurable validation examples for structured files associated with these systems. This does not imply native API connectivity; confirm that your file format and workflow are supported for the current release.
Can it process other structured data?
Valigo is designed for configurable structured-data workflows beyond HRIS. Supported input and export formats, version requirements, and file-size limits should be confirmed for your dataset and the current release.
Can Valigo fill a Workday EIB or other loading template?
Yes. Upload a blank template, such as a Workday EIB, an Oracle HDL file, or an Excel load sheet, along with your data and an optional crosswalk. Vali suggests which data column fills each template field; you confirm or change every suggestion before anything is written, and confirmed mappings can be saved for the next load.
How does Valigo use AI?
Validation and reconciliation checks are rule-based. AI Insights add a plain-language explanation after profiling and review, and Vali-Mode, the built-in assistant, answers questions and builds files when you ask. Both send the relevant results and file details to a third-party AI model provider.
How does Valigo differ from a traditional ETL platform?
Valigo focuses on browser-based validation, structured-file transformation, reusable checks, and source-to-target reconciliation. General-purpose ETL platforms may offer broader integrations, orchestration, and pipeline management; choose based on your workflow.
How can I evaluate Valigo?
Request a guided walkthrough using synthetic sample data to see validation, reusable checks, and reconciliation in context. No sensitive files are needed to request a demo. Book a demo to discuss your workflow and confirm technical fit.
